Perched on a rocky hill overlooking Athens, the ancient citadel of the Acropolis is an iconic symbol of Greek civilization. The citadel is home to architectural masterpieces such as the Parthenon, The Propylaea, the Erectheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike. Despite the challenging climb over timeworn marble, the panoramic view of these world-renowned landmarks is worth every step.
